Returning from a break

Some of you may already be familiar with me and Patton Boudoir from the time before the pandemic. COVID upended a lot of the world during the lock down, including my photography business.

Because weren't able to meet in person during the first few months, I was forced to take a break from boudoir photography.

How far ahead should you book your boudoir session?

A full boudoir experience from beginning to end takes longer than it seems. Here's why.

Before we ever get to a session, we have a consultation. This is where we talk through your goals, your comfort level, wardrobe, hair and makeup, and location. It's not something I want to rush through the week of your shoot — the more time we have to plan, the more it shows in your images.

What to wear for your boudoir shoot?

I get this question in almost every inquiry: What am I supposed to wear? It's usually followed by a nervous laugh, like there's a wrong answer waiting to trip them up. There isn't.

But I know the not-knowing is part of what makes booking a boudoir session feel intimidating, so let's talk through it.
